My Week6 Writing Post

Do you love playing Tennis or a you a fan of Tennis? Well if you are, it sure is a pretty basic sport to get started and all you will need these equipment. Racquet along with a can of ball. As you’ll know that tennis is a game played indoors or outdoors by two players (singles) or four players (doubles) on a level court. To learn how to play, these are some of the strategies that you will learn. The first technique is How to score, Forehand, Serving and Backhanding (one and two handed).

Tennis can be a very tiring sport to play because you will have to run maybe a little bit of slipping on the court. For some of you who do not know where tennis is from, it’s actually from the Great Britains. The Great Britains is an island lying off the Western Coast of Europe in the United Kingdom.

Tennis is an Olympic sport and is played at all levels of society at all ages. The sport can be played by anyone who can hold a racquet, including people in wheelchairs. If you did not know that people in wheelchairs could play tennis and you’re like “What!”, that’s impossible, well it’s the truth, very well people in wheelchairs can play tennis like the “pros”

The tennis court is a flat, rectangular surface usually made of clay or grass with a net that is 3 ft 6 in. The rules of the game are very simple although that the game itself is not. The players stand on opposite sides of the court. One is the server the other is the receiver. A coin toss is generally used to decide who will be the server and who will be the receiver. The server begins with the ball while the receiver is prepared to hit the ball. the server must stand behind the baseline on the deuce court and can not serve the ball until their opponent is ready.

This is a post that Ngametua, David and I are working on, just to make my writing interesting.
Sometimes I would always remember to indent my writing, make sure that the capital letters and full stops are in the right place.

Henri Matisse's Art Work

Henri Matisse was one of my favourite artist and in fact he was  a famous artist in France and also he’s french. He was born in France 31st December in 1869 and died in 1954 by an heart attack when he was 84 yrs of age. He had three kids, a daughter and 2 sons. Henri Matisse was  a skilled worker who draws plans of buildings or machines, print-maker, and sculptor, but is known mostly as a painter.

Also would collect scorpions, his favourite bird which is a parrot and hated porridge. He really loved collies having a long pointing nose and thick long hair. His favourite food was bangers and mash and also he loved playing tennis when he was a small kid and has siblings, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

I really love the fact that when he’s drawing or painting, he uses the bright colours which I really love using and tries to make them real.

Familiar work to Henri Matisse

Wow, I never thought that Mrs Langitupu’s class would be so wonderful to join in because the most thing that I’ve learnt was blending and making small strokes about Henri Matisse’s work. The most thing that I liked about Henri Matisse’s work was the beautiful bright colours that he used and mostly I looked at the 3 primary colours that he often used in his work. The main colours were red that makes you angry, blue that makes you feel so sad and last of all... yellow that can make everybody happy. This picture that I drew was one of my favourite because it actually caught my attention about the colors and to me it looks interesting. To me I think that my artwork looks really familiar to what Henri Matisse has done.
